Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 September 2026

This notice describes the cookies and technical tools used on securopera.com under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 (the “Italian Data Protection Code”), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021.

1. Controller

SecurOpera Consulting S.r.l.
Via Antonio Gramsci 22, 50019 Sesto Fiorentino (FI), Italy
VAT number and tax code: 06552890482
Florence Companies Register, REA FI-637518
Share capital: €10,000, fully paid up
Email: info@securopera.com

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files that a website may store on a user’s device. Technical tools deliver a function requested by the user or enable website operation and security; non-technical tools require prior consent unless a specific legal exception applies.

3. Tools actually used

Tool Type and scope Purpose Duration
pll_language First-party technical cookie Remember the selected language and display the website in the requested language. 1 year
Restricted-area WordPress cookies Technical authentication, security and preference cookies Enable access to and operation of the administrative area. Only for authorised restricted-area users; duration determined by the session or WordPress configuration.

Restricted-area cookies are not intended for ordinary visitors to the public website.

4. Tools that do not install cookies

  • WPForms contact form: collects the required name, email address and message and, if supplied, an optional telephone number; in the verified configuration it does not require profiling cookies. Processing of submitted data is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Aggregate contact count: the website records aggregate interaction counts through a proprietary function, without cookies or localStorage; these counts are not used to profile visitors.

5. Tools not active

Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, marketing or profiling cookies and Google reCAPTCHA are not active in the configuration described by this policy. The presence of reCAPTCHA strings in the form libraries does not mean that the service is loaded, and the service was not found to be active.

6. Why no banner is displayed

Because the website currently uses only technical cookies and storage needed to provide requested functions or operate the restricted area, prior consent is not requested and a consent banner is not necessary. This transparent notice is nevertheless provided.

7. Legal basis

Access to or storage on the device is limited to technical tools exempt from consent where Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code so provides. Any related processing of personal data for website operation, security and defence is based on the Controller’s legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with due regard for data-subject rights and freedoms.

8. How to control or delete tools

Users may delete or block cookies and website data through their browser settings. Blocking pll_language may prevent the website from remembering the selected language; blocking restricted-area tools prevents administrative access.

9. Possible future features

Before activating any non-technical cookies or tools, including any non-exempt analytics, advertising or profiling services, SecurOpera will update this notice and implement a prior-consent mechanism allowing users to accept or reject those tools before activation, as required by applicable law. No non-technical tool will be presented as active unless it is actually active.

10. Transfers to third countries

If use of an external resource entails a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will be carried out in compliance with Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, relying on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another safeguard provided by the GDPR, with supplementary measures where necessary.

11. References and contact

The main sources are Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.

Language note: this translation is provided for convenience. In the event of inconsistency, the Italian version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
